When coloring your … When coloring your hair Never start at the roots, start at the ends because the scalp lets off heat and because of that the color works fast. That will leave the root of the hair lighter then the ends.
I am about to color … I am about to color my hair with the same brand, i just want to color over my gray which is about 10% gray not much but i don’t like it so i just want to color it my same hair color (dark brown) This is my first color since being natural so a little nervous. After i wait about a month and i know it is not breaking off as long as i moisturize, can i add highlights like an auburn color?
Did U ever have a … Did U ever have a mishap in hair coloring? I tried my hand at it and my hair turned out darker than the very dark reddish brown I had. I used Garnier Nuttrisse in Dark Blonde& Med mahogany brown. It looks like my orignal jet black color but with brown highlights. I wonder if this can be fixed cause I’d really like a nice color for spring…

Not being negative … Not being negative but just to let you know you are no longer natural. You applied a color that lots has chemicals in it. It is not a natural product such as Henna. I used to think the same thing when I wore my hair “natural” until the day I colored it. So I decided to get a relaxer. It’s a lot of work. What is the difference between a permanent relaxer and a permanent color REALLY??? It looks great but, you are no longer natural. Just keeping it real!
